Dewey Nichols studied architecture at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received his First Professional degree, a Bachelor of Architecture, from the College of Fine Arts in 1986, completing minors in Architectural History and Business.
Mr. Nichols began practicing architecture in 1986 while working with Burt Hill Kosar Rittelmann, where he became an accomplished Associate. Mr. Nichols also served as the lead design architect for the Talbots Inc. for several years, while mastering the retail design discipline. Simultaneously, he founded Nichols Design Group, and in 2002, made the decision to focus exclusively on his private practice. His passion for luxury residential, commercial interior and retail design has earned him an esteemed reputation for consistently exceeding his client's expectations.
