Marino Residence

The design goal for the gut renovation of this former 1,700 S.F., 1 story cape, was to create a natural oasis in contrast to the urban fabric Pittsburgh. The design solution created an intersecting gable, which opened up interior views to the landscaped backyard and dramatically captured daylighting for the interior spaces. Special attention to landscaping created picturesque scenes of the outside through all seasons.
